About Us

We created The Biz Boutique to be able to serve more women who are Serious about having Fun in business, while learning to become even more successful.  We both grew fatigued with the traditional “rules” for success:  suffer, struggle, work harder, try harder, cross your fingers, and do it all over again.  We know it doesn’t have to be this way.  Growing personally and professionally are intrinsically linked.  The process can be so much more enjoyable and rewarding when you know you aren’t alone.  It is with the spirit of support, help, and humor that we created this blog.  Here’s a little bit more about us, the founders:

Since 1998, Michelle Goss has specialized in working with business owners, entrepreneurs, and executives to achieve greater levels of personal and professional success. She is known for her lively, unconventional approach to leadership, and for guiding high-performance teams and individuals to far exceed their goals.

In addition to her work with GROWE, she is the president of THE LEADER’S EDGE, INC., an Atlanta-based success coaching company. In addition to coaching, Michelle conducts leadership talent assessments, designs and delivers action-learning and team-building events for executives, and teaches coaching and feedback skills to leaders in major corporations.

As a former HR executive, Michelle has an additional 15 years experience coaching hundreds of managers in the areas of business development, communication, change, productivity, and motivation. She now draws on her practical experience and her passion for success when coaching others to succeed.

Michelle has served as President of the International Coach Federation’s Atlanta chapter. She is a course leader for The Coaches Training Institute, a supervisor to coaches-in-training, and an adjunct faculty member of Capella University’s MBA program, focusing primarily on integrating coaching as a core leadership competency.

Michelle holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Macalester College in St. Paul, MN, a Professional Certified Coach credential from the International Coach Federation, and Co-ActiveTM Coach certification from The Coaches Training Institute. She lives north of Atlanta with her husband and daughter.

Formerly a practicing attorney who founded and ran her own law firm for more than 10 years, Debby Stone has a track record as a woman entrepreneur.  Today, in addition to her work with GROWE, she is also president of InterVision Group, LLC, a professional coaching and facilitation company headquartered in metropolitan Atlanta.

Debby’s specialty is providing values-based coaching to entrepreneurs and business owners. She works with clients to develop and implement practical strategies to grow and succeed both professionally and personally. She also leads workshops and retreats focusing on skill-building and improving the effectiveness of teams.

In her 16-year legal career, Debby has provided general corporate legal counsel to a variety of growing companies, and has worked with clients and their marketing teams on intellectual property matters. She also has experience in management consulting and human resources.

Debby received her certification as a Professional Co-Active Coach from the Coaches Training Institute, and she is a member of the International Coach Federation, and its local chapter, the Georgia Coach Association, where she serves as on the board as 2008 Co-President. She served as the 2006 Co-President of ProWIN (Professional Women’s Information Network) and as the 2004-05 Vice President of Programs for the Atlanta chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners. She is also an active member of the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers.

Debby earned her undergraduate and law degrees from Duke University. Today she lives in Alpharetta, Georgia with her husband, son and three cats.
